An-Naḥl 16:8 — Study & Tafsir

An-NaḥlAyah 8 of 128· Page 268· Juz 14

وَٱلْخَيْلَ وَٱلْبِغَالَ وَٱلْحَمِيرَ لِتَرْكَبُوهَا وَزِينَةًۭ ۚ وَيَخْلُقُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ

And [He created] the horses, mules and donkeys for you to ride and [as] adornment. And He creates that which you do not know.

— An-Naḥl 16:8

Allah has sent down His revelations to warn that there is no god but Him and He has created cattle for the benefit of human beings

Listen

وَٱلْخَيْلَwal-khaylaAnd horses

وَٱلْبِغَالَwal-bighālaand mules

وَٱلْحَمِيرَwal-ḥamīraand donkeys

لِتَرْكَبُوهَاlitarkabūhāfor you to ride them

وَزِينَةًۭ ۚwazīnatanand (as) adornment

وَيَخْلُقُwayakhluquAnd He creates
