The Book of Knowledge

باب مَنْ سَنَّ سُنَّةً حَسَنَةً أَوْ سَيِّئَةً وَمَنْ دَعَا إِلَى هُدًى أَوْ ضَلاَلَةٍ

The One Who Starts Something Good Or Something Bad; The One Who Calls Others To Guidance Or Misguidance

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ جَمِيعًا عَنْ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ هِلاَلٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ خَطَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَحَثَّ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ

Jarir b. 'Abdullah reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: Jarir reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) delivered an address in which he exhorted people to give charity.
