باب الصَّدَقَةِ فِي الْمَسَاكِينِ

The Virtue Of Spending On The Poor And Wayfarers

وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ الضَّبِّيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ وَأَجْعَلُ ثُلُثَهُ فِي الْمَسَاكِينِ وَالسَّائِلِينَ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Wahb b. Kaisan with the same chain of transmitters but with this change that he said: " I earmark one-third for the poor, the needy and the wayfarers."
