باب مِنْ فَضَائِلِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ رضى الله عنه
The Virtues Of Sa'd Bin Mu'adh (RA)
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ الضَّبِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَنْبَأَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ بْنَ عَازِبٍ، يَقُولُ أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِثَوْبِ حَرِيرٍ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ ثُمَّ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبْدَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنِي قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِنَحْوِ هَذَا أَوْ بِمِثْلِهِ
Anas b Malik reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was presented a garment of sundus and he prohibited the use of silk. The persons admired it, whereupon he said: This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Anas b. Malik through another chain of transmitters.
