The Book of the Merits of the Companions
باب فَضَائِلِ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ النَّبِيِّ عَلَيْهَا الصَّلاَةُ وَالسَّلاَمُ
The Virtues Of Fatimah (RA), The Daughter Of The Prophet (SAW)
وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ أَبُو مَعْنٍ الرَّقَاشِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبٌ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَرِيرٍ - عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النُّعْمَانَ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ رَاشِدٍ - يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَهُ .
'A'isha reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) called his daughter Fatima (during his last illness). He said. to her something secretly and she wept. He again said to her something secretly and she laughed. 'A'isha further reported that she said to Fatima: This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Zuhri with the same chain of transmitters.
