The Book of Virtues
باب مِنْ فَضَائِلِ الْخَضِرِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ
The Virtues Of Al-Khadir, Peace Be Upon Him
وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّارِمِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، بِإِسْنَادِ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، نَحْوَ حَدِيثِهِ .
'Utba b. Mas, ud reported that 'Abdullah b. 'Abbas contended with Hurr b. Qais b. Hisn al-Fazari aboat the companion of Moses (peace be upon hiin). Ibn 'Abbas said that he was Khadir. There happened to pass Ubayy b. Ka'b Ansari. Ibn Abbas called him and said: This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Abu Ishaq.
