The Book of Hunting, Slaughter, and what may be Eaten
باب إِبَاحَةِ الضَّبِّ
The permissibility of eating the Dabb (mastigure)
وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، بِمِثْلِهِ فِي هَذَا الإِسْنَادِ .
A hadith pertaining to the eating of the lizard is transmitted from the Prophet (ﷺ) on the authority of Ibn 'Umar, but in this very hadith narrated through a different chain of transmitters there is a slight variation of wording (and the words are): This hadith has been narrated on the authority of 'Ubaidullah with the same chain of transmitters.
