The Book of Jihad and Expeditions
باب النِّسَاءُ الْغَازِيَاتُ يُرْضَخُ لَهُنَّ وَلاَ يُسْهَمُ وَالنَّهْىُ عَنْ قَتْلِ صِبْيَانِ أَهْلِ الْحَرْبِ
Women who take part in military expeditions are to be given a reward but not a regular share; And the prohibition of killing children of the enemy
وَحَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَهُ .
It has been narrated on the authority of Abu Ishaq that 'Abdullah b. Yazid went (out of the city) with people for offering" Istisqa" ' prayer (for rainfall). He offered two rak'ahs. Then he prayed for rain. That day I met Zaid b. Arqam. There was only one man between me and him (at that time). I asked him: A similar tradition has been narrated on the authority of Hisham b. Hassan through a different chain of transmitters.
