The Rites of Pilgrimage

وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «وَفْدُ اللَّهِ ثَلَاثَةٌ الْغَازِي وَالْحَاجُّ وَالْمُعْتَمِرُ» . رَوَاهُ النَّسَائِيُّ وَالْبَيْهَقِيُّ فِي شُعَبِ الْإِيمَان

He said that he heard God’s messenger say, “Those who visit God are three classes: The warrior, the one who performs the hajj, and the one who performs the ‘umra.” Nasa’i and Baihaqi, in Shu'ab al-iman, transmitted it.
