The Book of the Sunnah
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ قُرَيْظَةَ مَنْ يَأْتِينَا بِخَبَرِ الْقَوْمِ فَقَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ أَنَا فَقَالَ مَنْ يَأْتِينَا بِخَبَرِ الْقَوْمِ قَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ أَنَا ثَلاَثًا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيٌّ وَإِنَّ حَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ
It was narrated that Jabir said: "The Messenger of Allah said on the Day of Quraizah: 'Who will bring us news of the people?' Zubair said: 'I will.' The Prophet said: 'Who will bring us news of the people?' Zubair said: 'I will,' three times. Every Prophet has a Hawari (sincere supporter or disciple) and my Hawari is Zubair.'"
