The Book of Zakah
وَعَنْ جَابِرِ] بْنِ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ ] - رضى الله عنه - عَنْ رَسُولِ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { لَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسِ أَوَاقٍ مِنَ اَلْوَرِقِ صَدَقَةٌ, وَلَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسٍ ذَوْدٍ مِنَ اَلْإِبِلِ صَدَقَةٌ, وَلَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسَةِ أَوْسُقٍ مِنَ اَلتَّمْرِ صَدَقَةٌ } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِم ٌ 1 .1 - . صحيح. رواه مسلم ( 980 ).
Jabir (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “There is no Zakah to be paid on less than five ounces of silver, less than five camels or less than five Awsuq of dates.” Related by Muslim.
