The Book of Prayer
وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: { كَسَانِي اَلنَّبِيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -حُلَّةً سِيَرَاءَ, فَخَرَجْتُ فِيهَا, فَرَأَيْتُ اَلْغَضَبَ فِي وَجْهِهِ, فَشَقَقْتُهَا بَيْنَ نِسَائِي } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ, وَهَذَا لَفْظُ مُسْلِمٍ 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه البخاري (5840)، ومسلم (2071). "تنبيه" لا وزن لقول الحافظ: "وهذا لفظ مسلم" إذ هو نفس لفظ البخاري حرفا بحرف سواء بسواء.
Narrated 'Ali bin Abi Talib (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) presented me a silk suit of clothing. I went out wearing it, but on noticing anger on his face, I cut it up (and divided it) among the women of my household. .
