The Comprehensive Book

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ‏-رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا‏-, عَنْ اَلنَّبِيِّ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-قَالَ: { رِضَا اَللَّهِ فِي رِضَا اَلْوَالِدَيْنِ, وَسَخَطُ اَللَّهِ فِي سَخَطِ اَلْوَالِدَيْنِ } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّانَ وَالْحَاكِمُ.‏ 1‏ .‏‏1 ‏- حسن.‏ رواه الترمذي (1900)‏، وابن حبان (2026 وموارد)‏ والحاكم (4 / 151‏- 152)‏ وأعله الترمذي بما لا يقدح.‏

'Abdullah bin 'Amro bin al-As (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Allah’s pleasure results from the parent’s pleasure, and Allah’s displeasure results from the parent’s displeasure.” Related by At-Tirmidhi. Ibn Hibban and al-Hakim graded it as Sahih.
