فَضْلِ اتِّبَاعِ الْجَنَائِزِ
Superiority of accompanying funeral processions
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ نَافِعًا، يَقُولُ حُدِّثَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنهم ـ يَقُولُ مَنْ تَبِعَ جَنَازَةً فَلَهُ قِيرَاطٌ. فَقَالَ أَكْثَرَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ عَلَيْنَا.
Narrated Nafi`: Ibn `Umar was told that Abu Huraira said, "Whoever accompanies the funeral procession will have areward equal to one Qirat." Ibn `Umar said, "Abu Huraira talks of a too enormous reward."
