Call to Prayers (Adhaan)
فَضْلِ التَّهْجِيرِ إِلَى الظُّهْرِ
The superiority of offering the Zuhr prayer early
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ سُمَىٍّ، مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ السَّمَّانِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، " وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُونَ مَا فِي التَّهْجِيرِ لاَسْتَبَقُوا إِلَيْهِ، وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُونَ مَا فِي الْعَتَمَةِ وَالصُّبْحِ لأَتَوْهُمَا وَلَوْ حَبْوًا ".
Narrated Abu Huraira: "and if they knew the reward of offering the Zuhr prayer early (in its stated time), they wouldrace for it and if they knew the reward for `Isha' and Fajr prayers in congregation, they would attendthem even if they were to crawl."
