Excellence in Character
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: أَرْبَعُ خِلاَلٍ إِذَا أُعْطِيتَهُنَّ فَلاَ يَضُرُّكَ مَا عُزِلَ عَنْكَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا: حُسْنُ خَلِيقَةٍ، وَعَفَافُ طُعْمَةٍ، وَصِدْقُ حَدِيثٍ، وَحِفْظُ أَمَانَةٍ.
'Abdullah ibn 'Amr said, "There are four qualities such that if you were to be given them, you will not be harmed even if the world were to be taken away from you. They are: good character, restraint in food, truthful speech, and upholding a trust."
